The interlocking gold and red Steel Valley logo

On Monday, November 20th at 11:05 am, we shared with our staff and district families that we were made aware of a potential threat to the district. The threat was not specific as to which building, so our threat assessment team made the decision to lockdown all buildings while administration and local law enforcement investigated the credibility of the threat. The threat was contained in a text chain and was investigated fully and swiftly. By 12: 15 pm, local law enforcement verified that the threat was not credible.

Our students are the heart of our district. We continuously strive to provide programs and resources, not just for academics, but to support each student holistically. The Student Assistance Program (SAP) Team works with students, parents, and teachers to identify issues, including social, emotional, mental health, which may pose a barrier to a student's learning and school success. Through the SAP team, our District offers many groups, programs, and personal approaches to help support each and every student facing challenges to their success.
