We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students learn and grow. Steel Valley School District serves the boroughs of Homestead, Munhall, and West Homestead and is just a little over seven miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The service area covers 3.78 square miles. The District has two elementary schools (Barrett and Park), Steel Valley Middle School and Steel Valley Senior High School with a combined student population of 1,375.

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
Steel Valley School District (SVSD) is seeking candidates who possess excellent interpersonal skills, the desire to work with energetic and engaging students, and the ability to relate well within the school community. SVSD is committed to diversity in our workplace and welcomes the opportunity to consider all candidates. SVSD is seeking to appoint a Director of Technology to plan, administer, and supervise the implementation, operations, maintenance, and support of all information technology (IT) within the district, including but not limited to all technology systems that support instructional services and programming, building and districtwide security, and management of district data.

In-House Steel Valley Security Guard Postion
SECURITY GUARD: PART-TIME/SUPPLEMENTAL
Position Summary
Provides security for the school district staff, students, buildings and property through patrol of school building(s) and building perimeters, including parking lots, to prevent unauthorized visitors or property damage and to provide for general building security; does related work as required. Starting at $16.50/hour with the option of individual health benefits or the option of $500/month opt out.
- Monday-Friday during the school year - PT schedule
- Event work may be available
- Substitute work may be available
