STEEL VALLEY SCHOOL DISTRICT SAFETY COMMITTEE
The Steel Valley School District Safety Committee meets monthly to inspect facilities within the District buildings (Park Elementary, Barrett Elementary, Middle School, High School, Franklin Administration Office, and Campbell Field) to identify and mitigate risk for workers and other building visitors. All findings are shared with the Director of Facilities for remediation and all documentation is available to building administrators and the public. The Safety Committee currently consists of seven staff members, composed of both employee and employer representatives, all of whom serve on a volunteer basis.
All meeting records are available for public review and can be accessed in the administration office during normal business hours.
