Chapter 14 - Special Education

Children with a disability under Chapter 14 of the state regulations and in need of specially designed instruction may be eligible for special education services. Programs are offered both within the district and out of the district in Learning Support, Emotional Support, Life Skills Support, Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities Support, Speech and Language Support, Hearing Support and Vision Support. SCOLIOSIS SCREENING

February 18, 2020

The screening will be held at the SVMS/HS on February 18 and 19; February 20 and 21 for State mandated scoliosis screening for grades 6 & 7.

The Steel Valley School District Board of Directors will hold the Worksession Meeting on February 24, 2020 at 7:30 pm and the School Board Meeting on February 27, 2020 at 7:00 pm, in the Barrett Elementary Gymnasium, 221 E. 12th Avenue, Homestead, PA 15120

On February 24, 2020 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm at Steel Valley High School with a Presentation and Questions by Jennifer Koehler Fandray, M.Ed., C.R.C., L.P.C.
