School Health Services

The Steel Valley School Health Program facilitates the healthy growth and development of all children of school age in both public and non-public schools in Munhall, Homestead and West Homestead. This program prevents and detects health problems, and maintains and improves the health status of students. On October 29, 2019, at 6:00 PM in the High School auditorium, the Steel Valley School District will host the first Town Hall Meeting to discuss possible options for educating all of its students together in grades K – 12.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have dealt with the issue of bed bugs. We have treated our schools as prescribed by the Allegheny County Health Department and as recommended by our professional exterminator.
