Park rings in end of year with Celebration in Education

Fourth graders pose

Everyone at Park had a blast during the annual Celebration in Education event today! With a theme centered around space, students spent the day exploring their own little galaxy of activities and fun.

Each grade went from station to station throughout the school. Students were able to enjoy some sports - including a Hoop Shot game in the little playground - and burn off some energy in a handful of bouncy houses. Bubble blowers, giant games of Plinko, Connect 4, and Tetris, and much more awaited them outside. Students also had their faces painted and got temporary tattoos thanks to student volunteers from the middle school and high school.

In their classrooms, yearbooks were passed out and they completed some fun worksheets. Of course, the main event was out front, as the dunk tank returned!. Our volunteers - including Dr. Shaughnessy - braved the chilly weather and sat under the bucket of water as students lined up to with their best throws at the target.

Thank you to the Park staff, volunteers, and the Park PTO for helping put on this event to celebrate the end of the 2024-25 school year!
