Guidance Program

At Park Elementary, we understand that social and emotional development matter, and we have a number of supports in place to help our students develop the soft skills that will enable them to be successful in life.

Counseling Services

We want our students to develop a positive sense of self and positive peer relationships, and Mrs. Chalus will meet with students individually and in small groups to make that happen.

Classroom Lessons

Mrs. Chalus will teach lessons to kindergarten through fourth grade students to begin laying a foundation so they are College and Career Ready.  Emphasis will also be placed on helping students become Prepared, Accountable, Respectful, and Kind.

Gifted Screening

Mrs. Chalus will screen students referred to the gifted program.

Elementary Student Assistance Program

Mrs. Chalus coordinates and facilitates Child Study Meetings, and consults with teachers, staff, and parents to promote individual student needs.
