Park Elementary Says Goodbye

 

Today was Ms. Kylie Murphy's last day here at Park Elementary. Ms. Kylie has played a vital role supporting Park students as our Trauma Based Intervention Specialist.  She could be found greeting kids in the morning, teaching classroom lessons, having lunch bunches, and meeting with students for individual check-ins.  She could always be counted on to lend a helping hand.  Ms. Kylie has made a huge difference, and the students here at Park are going to be better off in life because of her.  

Unfortunately, Ms. Kylie's position here was grant-funded, but the grant is no longer available.  Ms. Kylie is sad to be leaving us, and we are all sad to see her go.  She will be taking on a similar position as a Trauma Based Intervention Specialist with TCV Day Academy while she finishes her master's degree.

Good luck in your future endeavors Ms. Kylie, and thanks for all you've done.  Park Elementary is a better place because of you.
