First Meeting Success!

At today’s Fearlessly Girl meeting the focus was on “girl drama” and social media. The girls participated in a role playing activity in small groups. Then discussed alternative ways to make better decisions. They also wrote Kind Notes to each other. Miss Meghan and Mrs. Mac were impressed with how many students took home extra Kind Notes to spread happiness and kindness outside our group! #FearlesslyGiRL

Girl Power

At today’s Fearlessly Girl meeting, the girls discussed the idea of being a positive “girl boss.” They brainstormed a list of qualities that they thought a leader should possess and then each girl starred the traits they thought they had in themselves.  The girls worked together to find examples of women displaying those qualities in magazines, cut them out, and created a collage.

Self Esteem

At Wednesday’s Fearlessly Girl meeting, girls learned about what self-esteem means. The girls also made “masks” using paper plates. The front of the plate represented what people see from the outside and the back of the plate displayed the thoughts they have that people don’t always see. Be the REAL you! #FearlesslyGiRL
