Step-by-Step Guide to Sign Up

Parent/Guardian: Create or Access Your Family Profile

  1. Open the Uber or Uber Eats app.
  2. Navigate to Account → Family (sometimes labeled “Family Profile”).
  3. If you don’t already have a family profile, create one and ensure your payment method is up to date.

Invite Your Teen

  1. Within the Family section, choose “Invite Family” and then select “Teen.”
  2. Enter your teen’s contact (phone number or email) so they can receive the invite.

Teen: Accept the Invitation & Complete Setup

  1. The teen receives a link via SMS or email.
  2. Download (or open) the Uber app, accept the invitation, and create their account.
  3. Complete the mandatory safety onboarding—this may include reviewing key features like PIN verification and RideCheck™.
  4. Go to “Wallet” (or “Promotions”) and select “Add Promo Code,” then enter HSNATION25.
    • If you get an error message when entering the promo – you should have still received the credits. Check to confirm.
