PPG Ice Rink Student Leadership Group

A group of student-leaders from Steel Valley High School had the opportunity to go ice skating at the PPG Ice Rink on February 22, thanks to the Tickets for Kids Organization. These students were chosen because they are Student Council Officers, Senior Class Officers, and/or in the Top 10 Academically of their Senior Class. 

Although they had to brave the cold and the rain, the group thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Some of them had never been on an ice rink before so it was quite an experience. "It was great to see some of the more experienced skaters help those who were shaky on the ice. What a great group of students!", said chaperones Ms. Dolton and Mrs. McCallister.
