Park Elementary Welcomes Officer Jason Poniewaz

 

Please join us in welcoming Officer Jason Poniewaz, our new School Resource Officer, to Park Elementary!  Officer Poniewaz has been a police officer with the Borough of Munhall for over 25 years and also served with the Pittsburgh School Police for seven years.  Jason lives right here in Munhall, and his children, Jason and Alyssa, attended Park Elementary.

Officer Poniewaz enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Middle School teacher Erin Noblet, and his two Boston Terriers, Hulk and Thor.  He also likes cooking and barbequing.  Jason loves seafood and peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream!  His favorite color is neon green, which will come as no surprise if you've ever seen his truck.  Jason's also a big sports fan.
