Balance and Motion in First Grade

First graders had fun learning about balance and motion!  They used counterweights to balance a crayfish on their finger and on a popsicle stick. 

 

Students are getting warmed up for their Balance and Motion science unit that will be supported by visiting artists from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.
