Park Elementary Welcomes Mrs. Jamie Richardson

We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Jamie Richardson to Park Elementary!  Mrs. Richardson is a building substitute teacher, so she is here working with students daily.  After spending over twenty years in Human Resource Management positions, Jamie decided to make a career change and become a teacher.  She enrolled in an alternative certification program run by Point Park University for professionals interested in making a career transition, and she is almost done!  Mrs. Richardson has spent the past three years substituting in various districts as she completed her coursework.

 

Jamie is the proud mother of two children and stays busy travelling to their softball and baseball games around the region.  She enjoys spending time with her family, especially going hiking and engaging in other outdoor activities.

 

A mid-career transition is never easy, but Mrs. Richardson has no regrets.  She has developed a passion for teaching, and she is grateful to have a job that she enjoys coming to every day.  Jamie loves Park Elementary, and is very appreciative of the teachers, staff, and students here who have been incredibly welcoming.
