A Big Dill in Fourth Grade!

Fourth graders have been working hard to maintain our school’s hydroponic farmstand, a project Mrs. Schott helped with just a few months ago. Students put the stand together, voted on what to grow, and began planting. Each week, they add water, check pH levels, and add nutrients to care for the different kinds of lettuce and herbs they chose.

Their hard work paid off! Mrs. Bobick stopped by this week to help students harvest the plants to make a delicious dip. By the looks of it, it was kind of a “big dill!”
