The Me I Choose to Be

Last week Middle school students, with the help of Mr. Orlando Dulin, visited Park Elementary's 3rd and 4th graders.  Middle School students read a story called The Me I Choose To Be, by Natasha Anastasia Tarpley.  Students then created a class poster with their handprints.  The following day, Mrs. Callahan led the students in an extension activity where they filled in the sentence I AM …..with words of who they choose to be.
