Integrating the Arts in 1st Grade

First graders learned all about balance today as part of their Balance and Motion Science Unit that is being supported by artists from the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.  They balanced themselves using yoga moves, made a classroom mobile, and practiced their balancing skills by doing a circus trick with a paper flower.  Keep up the good work first graders!
