Park Elementary Welcomes Officer James Taylor

We are excited to welcome Officer James Taylor ("Officer James") to Park Elementary!  Officer James is coming to us from the Steel Valley Middle School and High School, where he has been working as a security officer.  He will be working closely with our School Resource Officer, Sergeant Tichon, and our longtime security officer, Officer Vito.

Officer James has his HVAC certification and previously worked in the field.  He became interested in becoming a security officer after interacting with security officers who made a difference and had a positive impact in his life.  Officer James lives in McKeesport and enjoys basketball and video games, so he'll definitely be a good fit at Park!  His favorite color is blue and he likes burgers and pie -- again, a perfect fit!  Officer James is really looking forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families here.
