3rd Graders Learn Multiplication Through Hands on Literature

Using the book One Hundred Hungry Ants by Elinor J. Pinczes, 3rd graders explored several ways to form equal groups of 100 hungry ants.  They developed an understanding of equal groups and how they relate to addition as well as multiplication.  Nice work 3rd graders!
