Park Elementary Welcomes Ms. Jillian Braszo

We are thrilled to welcome Ms. Jillian Braszo back to Park Elementary School!  Jillian is no stranger, having previously served as a Life Skills / Autistic Support teacher here.  This is her 9th year in the Steel Valley School District -- she has spent the past few years at the Middle School.  We are definitely glad to have her back!

 

Ms. Braszo will be working with struggling readers at both Park and Barrett Elementary Schools, and she is really excited to have the opportunity to help students in both buildings learn how to read.

 

Jillian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (K-12) from California University of Pennsylvania.  She also earned a Master of Education degree with a Reading Specialist (K-12) endorsement from California University of Pennsylvania.

 

In her free time, Ms. Braszo enjoys taking walks with her dog, Chester, and spending time with her two cats, Bella and Luna.  She also likes to read, watch movies, and go on vacation with her family.  Jillian played a lot of sports growing up, and she makes it a point to stay active.  She is looking forward to (finally!!!) finishing remodeling her house - she is almost done!
