Temi Wierzbowski is not just a kind, hard working student in Mrs. Law's second grade class. She's also a Ninja Warrior!!! Temi is heading to Greensboro, North Carolina this weekend to compete with the top Ninja Warriors from around the world.
Temi started training recreationally in January 2021. After two six-week camps, she was asked to join the Elite Team, which competes throughout the fall and winter. She trains with her team for an hour and a half on Mondays, and works 1-1 with her coach for an hour on Thursdays. Temi has 14 competitions under her belt in cities across the Northeast including Erie, Columbus, and Detroit. She also has competed twice at her home gym in Baldwin, Iron City Ninja. Temi qualified for the World Finals based on her superb performance in those competitions. Temi's favorite obstacle? The Lache Bars, of course! Her least favorite part of being a Ninja Warrior? Definitely the blisters!
Temi's younger sister Gia, in Mrs. Draganosky's first grade class, is Temi's biggest fan, and is a Little Ninja herself. She said she knows her big sister is going to do great - she said she might even win it all!
Making it to the World Finals took a lot of hard work, and is a tremendous accomplishment. Please congratulate Temi and wish her well!
