Third Graders Celebrate Black History Month

Third graders in Mrs Callahan’s English Language Arts class researched great African Americans who have changed the world!  Students used self-selected books and safely researched websites to gather information.  They then learned to paraphrase that information before drafting a three paragraph biography that included the individual’s life story, achievements and hardships.  Great work third graders!
