Second Graders Work Together, and Have Some Fun, in Math Class

Playing games with partners is a great way to practice math skills. Second graders are gaining a strong understanding of place value as they use their math vocabulary words "tens" and "ones" to describe base-ten blocks.  One student provides a two-digit number while their partner models it correctly with their blocks.  Keep up the great work second grade!
