Park Elementary Welcomes Ms. Kerry Kleinhans

Ms. Kerry Kleinhans is no stranger to Park Elementary, as she has spent plenty of time teaching music as a long-term substitute teacher and has also served as the band teacher.  We are incredibly excited that Ms. Kleinhans will now be working full time with students from Park and Barrett Elementary schools!

 

For the past 23 years, Ms. Kleinhans has been the principal oboist for the Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra, and she loves spending time with her three teenagers and their dog.

 

Ms. Kleinhans is incredibly passionate about music education.  Over the summer she spent time learning about world music drumming, and she can't wait to share what she learned with her students.  

 

This is Ms. Kleinhans's dream job, and she is excited that the year is off to a terrific start.  Please congratulate Ms. Kleinhans and wish her well in her new full time position!
