Students in Mrs. Callahan’s home room spent time this week reading their chapter books in the Maria Heddleston Reading Area, which is located outside of Park Elementary on the corner of Main Street and Cambria Street.
Mrs. Heddleston was a wonderful educator and a dear friend to Mrs. Callahan and many other Park staff members. It is nice that students and staff are now able to read outside in the fresh air and remember this terrific person.
