Autism Awareness and Acceptance

Mrs. Terrick's kindergarten students were very curious about what their neighbors, in Mrs. Oleksak's Life Skills and Autistic Support Class, do during the day.  April is Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, so it was the perfect time for Mrs. Oleksak to stop by and talk to the kindergarteners about how students with autism might need a little more support to complete assignments.  She showed Mrs. Terrick's students a video and then talked with them about how they can include students with disabilities and all be friends!
