First Grade Farmers

Spring is here, and the first graders got their hands (a little) dirty as they worked to figure out what plants need to grow.  Do they need water?  Soil?  Sunlight?  Plants actually only need two of those, and if you're not sure which two, ask a first grader!

 

Students also recorded what they learned in their science journals and then planted everything outside.  Nice work boys and girls!
