Mystery Reader

 

Ms. Erin Noblet, a Middle School teacher and Park parent, was the first 3rd grade Mystery Reader.  She was chosen by her son, Logan, who worked to help her with her fluency and inflection before the big day.

 

Logan chose to have her read Dragons Love Tacos, which is a very popular book among Park students.  Some of you old timers might recall that it won the Tournament of Books a number of years ago.  Ms. Noblet did more than just read a great book.  She worked with Logan to make an IMOVIE on how to make tacos!!!

 

The 3rd graders were able to make some great connections between Dragons Love Tacos and a story they are currently reading called Gary the Dreamer by Gary Soto.  

 

The kids are all looking forward to being visited by another Mystery Reader in the future!!!
