Where in Steel Valley are Mrs. Craycraft and Mrs. Vicki?

Having students engage with their community can be tough in the middle of a pandemic, but Mrs. Craycraft and Mrs. Vicki are following in the footsteps of Mr. Rogers to do just that!

 

Their videos are a huge hit across the Steel Valley community, and we encourage all kids to take a look.  Type "Mary Jo Craycraft" into Youtube to see them all!

 

Mrs. Craycraft and Mrs. Vicki have already visited the Colasante's Flower Shop, Jennifer's Card Shop, the Homestead Post Office, and Cat Around Town Grooming.  Keep your eyes open for videos of upcoming visits to Carmine's Barber Shop, the Munhall Firehall, and many other places!

 

All of the businesses have been very enthusiastic and supportive.  Mrs. Craycraft and Mrs. Vicki are paraprofessionals at Park Elementary, and they thought this would be a fun way to engage the students with special needs they work with.  The videos were such a hit all students are encouraged to take a look!

 

Many years from now, this generation of Steel Valley students will have no idea who Mr. Rogers was, but they will have fond memories of Mrs. Craycraft and Mrs. Vicki and their visits around town!
