The Flag is Flying!

Fourth grade students at Park Elementary have the opportunity to serve on the school’s Principal Advisory Council, and we will be getting things up and running in the near future! Interested students will submit applications along with recommendations from teachers and staff.  The council meets twice a month with Dr. Shaughnessy and Mrs. Chalus.

 

Last year, students worked with Mr. Keesecker, the Director of Facilities for the Steel Valley School District, to put a new flag pole and flag in front of the school.  Now, everyone driving down Main Street can see it!

 

Thanks to Austin, Ashley, Avianna, Brooke, Alana, Kaila, Aria, and Alex for making it happen!  Even though they're gone, Park Elementary is a better place because of the work they did!
