The Bike Rack is In!

Fourth grade students on the Park Principal Advisory Council work hard to make the school a better place.  From teaching lessons to kindergarteners about the importance of being Prepared, Accountable, Respectful, and Kind to talking with the third graders about setting a good example, the Council does a lot of good.

 

Last year, after getting suggestions from students throughout the building, the Council worked with Mr. Keesecker, the Director of Facilities for the Steel Valley School District, to bring a bike rack to the school.  Students prepared a presentation in which they made their case, and they convinced Mr. Keesecker it was a great idea.  The bike rack is in place and ready for kids to use when they return to Park!

 

Even though they're big kids in the Middle School now, everyone at Park wants to thank Elaina, Tommi, Halle, Kamerin, Brooklyn, Effie, Josie, and Ana for making it happen!  They really did help make Park Elementary a better place!
