Officer Vito

Each morning, Park students start their day off right with a warm smile and heartfelt welcome from Officer Vito.  And throughout the day, kids know they can count on a kind word whenever they run into him.  For many Park students, their school day comes to a close as Officer Vito helps them cross Cambria Street and wishes them well.  Imagine what a difference all of those positive interactions have on a child!  

When he’s not helping to keep us safe, Officer Vito stays busy serving as the President of the Munhall-Homestead Housing Association.  He likes to spend time with his family, including his wife, three sons, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. 

Officer Vito definitely goes above-and-beyond to help make Park Elementary a better place.  He’s an important part of our school community, and we are really lucky to have him!
