Science Center Field Trip

The first graders had an awesome time at the Carnegie Science Center last Friday!  Besides having a ton of fun, they also learned a lot.  Students explored the Sports Works, where they had the opportunity to maneuver through a rope course, climb a rock wall, and fly down a zip line!  They also got acquainted with some of the animals that live in Pennsylvania, including cockroaches and frogs!  Finally, the first graders learned about our rivers, flooding, and our lock system.  Everyone had a wonderful time -- it was a day the kids will remember forever!
