Who Are You? Park Students, Families Discover Hidden Identities of Guest Readers During Family Night

WHO ARE YOU? WHO ARE YOU?

Park students and families chanted that question Thursday night as they eagerly anticipated for over a dozen special guests to climb out of their inflatable costumes and reveal their identities. The event was held as part of Seuss Week, which celebrates reading around the nation.

Each of the special guests had appeared in front of the students and families to either read or share details about one of their favorite books. The guests were hidden away inside puffy, inflatable costumes, and the only clues the students and families had to make their guesses were the voices of the readers along with some clues shared by Ms. Strom.

The students proved to be fantastic guessers with some of the guest readers - Dr. Shaughnessy and Ms. Chalus can't hide! - but there were a few surprises that had them stumped and the reveal left them stunned!

Students and their family members also had the opportunity to complete activity packets, with each page of the packet related to one of the books read during the evening. The books included:

Perfect

I Broke My Trunk!

Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type

Rap A Tap Tap

The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog

If You Give a Cat a Cupcake

The Little Red Hen

Eraser

What If You Had Animal Hair?

There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books

Monster's New Undies

No, David!

Pig the Slob
