The Boroughs of Munhall and West Homestead have moved trick-or-treating to Saturday, November 2, from 6 – 8 PM. In the Borough of Homestead, trick-or-treating will remain Thursday, October 31, from 6 - 8 PM.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we have dealt with the issue of bed bugs. We have treated our schools as prescribed by the Allegheny County Health Department and as recommended by our professional exterminator.
We have had two separate incidents in which a suspected bed bug was found, yesterday in a High School classroom and then today in a Middle School student book bag.
Dear Parent or Guardian: We recently found a suspected Bed Bug in the School Building. Bed bugs are a nuisance, but their bites are not known to spread disease.

The Banquet was held at St. John’s Cathedral Center on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. This is an annual banquet held for Steel Valley seniors who have maintained a minimum overall GPA of 3.25 and/or have been selected to receive one of the many local scholarship awards. The guest speaker, Ms. RyKai Wright, gave the audience a positive message about the many paths that you can take to find your way to success and to continue to persevere even through adversity.
NOTICE: The Steel Valley School District Board of Directors will adopt the Proposed Final General Fund Budget and a millage rate of 24.217 for 2019-2020 on May 23, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. in the Senior High School Library, located at 3113 Main Street, Munhall, PA 15120.
