Middle School Donation Drive Help Texas & Florida Classrooms Affected by Hurricanes

The Middle School gathered about 300 lbs. of supplies to help schools in Sarasota, FL and Houston, TX affected by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma during a “Hurricane Relief School Supply Drive” held in September.

Supplies such as
paper, pencils &
pens, rulers, dry-
erase boards, and
many other
classroom items
were all included in
the shipment. Along with donations, a $1 dress down day was held to raise additional funds for supplies and postage.

After the drive, students in 5th and 6th grade helped Donation Drive Organizers Mrs. MacDonald, Mrs. Rojtas and Mrs. Dunmire-Kuftic sort and pack the donated supplies.
