Welcome back old friends and hello to new ones!

The Barrett Elementary staff was so excited to see Barrett students for the first day of school today! Students spent the day reconnecting with the friends they missed over the summer, meeting their new teachers, and reuniting with a few former ones.

They also spent time getting to know one another and learning about what their regular day will be like as a student at Barrett. From deciding what to eat for lunch to figuring out how to store their school supplies and more, today was all about helping students settle in.

Plus, they enjoyed a bunch of fun activities to share more about themselves and start making new friends.

Welcome back Barrett students! It's going to be a fantastic year!
