A team of high-energy educators from The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust visited Barrett on Monday, February 23 to perform a variation of their "Collaboration Festival" program. The interactive, entertaining, and educational program brought a variety of artistic skills together and taught the students how creativity can blossom even more when artists collaborate with each other.
The "Collaboration Festival" features talented artists who need help to share their gifts with the world. Along their journey to the "Collaboration Festival," they meet fellow artists and learn how they can blend their unique skills to tell a special story.
Each segment of the show featured interactive moments for students to participate in - from positive chants to special dances to helping contribute to an improvised story. It kept the students moving and entertained, all while teaching them the power of creative collaboration.
Thank you to the artistic educators from the Cultural Trust for visiting Barrett Elementary to educator and entertain our students!
