Supporting Our Families: Ensuring Every Child Has Enough to Eat

An image containing the text elsewhere on the page

At Steel Valley School District, we recognize that many families in our community are feeling the impact of recent changes to SNAP benefits. We understand that food insecurity is a serious concern, and we want our families to know that you are not alone.

Our district is actively working with community partners, local organizations, and food support networks to ensure that every child has access to the nutritious meals they need to learn and grow. Together, we are committed to helping fill the gaps and supporting one another during this time.

We encourage families and community members to stay tuned for updates as we share more information about available assistance and food support programs.

For those wishing to lend a helping hand:

  • Physical donations (non-perishable food items) may be dropped off at Steel Valley High School.
  • Monetary contributions to food assistance efforts can be directed to Steel Valley School District, care of the Administration Office.

Together, we can ensure that every student in Steel Valley is supported, nourished, and cared for. Thank you for being part of a community that looks out for one another.
