Welcome back, Steel Valley students!

Steel Valley students officially opened the 2025-26 school year on Monday, August 25 with the first day of school. Students from Pre-K to 12th grade had their first full classes, met their teachers, and reunited with friends as the school year got underway.

The 2025-26 school year promises to be a transformative one for the district, as it is the final year that the district will have separate elementary schools. Steel Valley Elementary is on track to open in August 2026 and the state-of-the-art building will be the new home for all kindergarten through fifth grade students in the district.

Students at Barrett Elementary and Park Elementary will celebrate the history and tradition of their historic buildings while enjoying the opportunity to collaborate with each other frequently throughout the year.

Middle school and high school students will have numerous exciting activities and lessons throughout the year, as well.
