For this scholarship, we ask you to share the story of someone (living or deceased) who has personally impacted your post-high school career choice or life path. This individual could be a family member, teacher, mentor, coach, or anyone who has helped guide or inspire you.

In your essay, please explore the following:

  • Who is the person who has made a significant impact on your aspirations?
  • How did they influence your decision to pursue a specific path, such as college, trade school, or another career option?
  • What specific advice, actions, or experiences did they provide that helped you clarify your goals or encouraged you to follow a particular path?
  • How has their guidance shaped the way you view your future and your potential for success?

We encourage you to focus on the qualities that make this individual stand out—whether it's their support, wisdom, encouragement, or personal example—and explain how their impact has motivated you to take the next step toward achieving your dreams. Your response should be between 500 and 750 words. Please be sure to include specific examples that
illustrate how this person has influenced your life and your decisions. We look forward to hearing about the influential individuals who have played such an important role in your story!
