Senior Cay'son Simpkins commits to play football at Washington & Jefferson

Congratulations to senior Cay'son Simpkins, who will be pursuing his future academic and football endeavors at Washington & Jefferson College. Surrounded by his family, friends, teammates, classmates, and coaches, Simpkins announced his college choice and signed the official paperwork during a signing day ceremony in the high school auditorium on Wednesday, February 12.

A prolific tackler and physical player, Cay'son was one of the key contributors to the Steel Valley defense during his time with the program. Named the Ironmen Defensive Player of the Year as a junior, Cay'son was also selected as an Allegheny Conference honorable mention all-conference player on defense in each of the past two seasons.
