School Board Appreciation Month

School board members in Pennsylvania are elected officials, but they’re also volunteers who donate a considerable amount of time in the service of their school districts. January is School Director Recognition Month in Pennsylvania and in many states throughout the country.

As the Steel Valley School District Board of Directors prepare to meet this week for their January meetings, we’d like to express our sincere gratitude to Susan Ballas, James Bulger, David Colasante, Richard Dunmire, Robyn Guy, Stephanie Hughes, Cara Karstetter, Daniel Rojtas, and Mary Yuhas for everything they do to support our students, families, programs, and educational community.
