Barrett celebrates Spirit Week during pep rally with high school students

Barrett Elementary was full of school spirit and Ironmen Pride this morning as the high school students stopped by for the fall sports pep rally.

The high school student-athletes talked about the importance of leadership, teamwork, and hard work. Barrett students met some of the captains of the Steel Valley fall sports teams, cheerleaders, and marching band, as well as this year's homecoming court.

The cheerleaders and marching band led everyone in a couple of cheers and Steel Valley fight songs. Barrett students teamed up with high school students for a bunch of activities, including an intense push-up contest and a battle of tug-of-war that left some of the high school students flat on their backs!

Thanks to the high school students for coming by to help Barrett showcase its Ironmen Pride! Check out some photos from the event in our gallery.
