Please see this letter from Bryan M. Macuga, Interim Superintendent
On Monday, November 20th at 11:05 am, we shared with our staff and district families that we were made aware of a potential threat to the district. The threat was not specific as to which building, so our threat assessment team made the decision to lockdown all buildings while administration and local law enforcement investigated the credibility of the threat. The threat was contained in a text chain and was investigated fully and swiftly. By 12: 15 pm, local law enforcement verified that the threat was not credible. The lockdown was lifted immediately and all normal district functions resumed at that time. We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we worked to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
