On Wednesday, December 21, Steel Valley Middle School students had the pleasure of meeting Josh and Gab during an assembly. The musicians were brought in by both the middle school Stand Together program as well as the PBIS program.
Josh is an award-winning songwriter and musician, and Gab is a nationally renowned writer, comedian and actress. They draw on personal experiences to create music and comedy exploring tolerance, positive expression, healthy decision making, and above all, the use of creativity as an alternative to negativity.
With a fully engaged audience, the middle school students had the opportunity to learn, express themselves and discuss their feelings in a fun and interactive way.
It was a truly great afternoon for our everyone involved!
