MYCF Scholarship Deadline Extended to May 15th

The Mon Valley Community Foundation is pleased to announce that we plan to offer select scholarships to graduating seniors from your school district once again this year and due to the disruption of classes, we are extending our deadline to Friday, May 15, 2020.

Please follow this link: MYCF Scholarship Application to fill out your application. In addition to the application, we will also need  the Student Aid Report (SAR) from your FAFSA application showing the EFC (Expected Family Contribution). Without this information, your scholarship applications will not be sent to the review committee for consideration. Each student has the option to email this information to us or have the guidance office collect and submit it to us.

The MYCF will award scholarships to selected graduating high school seniors residing in the Mon-Yough area while continuing their post-secondary education. For purposes of these scholarships post-secondary education encompasses all career courses of study. Included are vocational and trade schools in addition to the traditional universities, colleges, academies, seminaries, and institutes of technology.

• Our goal for 2020 is to award one scholarship to a student from each of our school districts and to award one $1000 scholarship to our top applicant from all.
