Roman Donis is taking his baseball talents to the PSAC. The Steel Valley senior signed his National Letter of Intent to play collegiate baseball at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown, where he’ll reunite with older brother Noah. An infielder and pitcher for Steel Valley, Roman hit for a .368 average with a pair of home runs for the Ironmen as a junior. Donis also plays for the Pittsburgh Diamond Dawgs travel baseball team.
Joining Roman for the signing ceremony were his parents, Mark and Marnyn Donis; his brother, Noah Donis; Steel Valley varsity baseball coaches Kevin Walsh and Matthew Simpson; and Steel Valley athletic director Shawn McCallister.
