Community Support: Weekend Food Bags for Our Students
We understand that times are especially challenging right now with SNAP benefits currently unavailable. At Steel Valley School District, we want to ensure that every student has access to nutritious meals — not only during the school week but throughout the weekend as well.
Starting this Friday, bags of food will be available to any student who would like to take one.
Each bag includes items to help cover breakfast, lunch, and snacks for the weekend.
Makenna (Kenna) Williams will attend Theil College to play soccer for the Bobcats. She was the defensive anchor for the WPIAL Champion Lady Ironmen Soccer Team.
We wish her the best of luck and look forward to the opportunity to watch her play at the next level.
