I have been a School Counselor in the Steel Valley School District since 2001 at Barrett Elementary. I spent one year at Park Elementary and was at Franklin Primary when it was open. My husband, Bob, and | have lived in Munhall since 1997. Our children, Allie and Jordan, both graduated from Steel Valley. My family is very involved with the community.
You might see us volunteering at the Best of the Batch Foundation, youth basketball programs, or the Carnegie Library of Homestead. We love living here and being a part of the Steel Valley community.

EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES

The Allegheny County Local Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) works to improve the delivery of Early Intervention services for young children with developmental delays and disabilities. Through the LICC and local partners, the Steel Valley School District can work with families in need to supply programs and services for children under the age of five in the district. These documents include contact information and an overview of programming for the three local early intervention programs. The Alliance for Infants and Toddlers serves children aged birth to three. The AIU Preschool Early Intervention (PEI) provides services for children from age 3 to kindergarten. Please reach out to Counselor Fisher at afisher@steelvalleysd.org with any questions.

STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (SAP)

The Steel Valley School District and Steel Valley Elementary School have a Student Assistance Program (SAP) available for students in need. If you would like to refer a child to our SAP program, please complete the information at the following link: SAP REFERRAL.
